Before first use
You can use your mat right away, but we suggest to unroll and air out your mat for a couple of days before use to remove the harmless new yoga mat smell.
Usage and care instructions
The mat has a vegan suede surface, which gives you a strong grip, that even enhances when sweating. If you need better grip right away, you can also spray some water on it. This mat is also suitable for hot yoga, like Bikram. After your practice, leave the mat open to dry, before rolling it back up with the top layer facing outwards. This prevents creasing of the surface and curling of the corners, ensuring that your mat lays flat on the ground, ready for your next practice. Store it in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, when not in use. If your mat gets dirty, wipe the mat with a damp non-abrasive sponge or soft towel. A gentle, non-toxic soap diluted with water may be used. Hand-wash it to extend the life of your mat. If absolutely necessary, wash your mat in the washing machine with a mild detergent on a gentle/delicate cycle (30º C). Do not tumble dry. Hang to air-dry, away from direct sunlight.
