According to UNESCO, 1 in 10 girls will miss school because they do not have access to sanitary products or because they do not have safe, private toilets at their schools. Periods can have a huge impact on a girl's education. We believe missing days at school can lead girls to drop out of school, leading them to become child brides, and at a greater risk of falling pregnant at a young age

We believe that ending period poverty is a fight that we must all fight. Here at VEVBLEU, we are going to help you join the campaign and help to keep a girl child in school.
Our "Ending Period Poverty" fund will be used to purchase safe, reusable sanitary products which will be donated to underprivileged school-aged girls throughout South Africa.
But we won't stop there. The school will be provided with educational posters and pamphlets; educating learners and staff about menstruation and period poverty. Combating the stigma attached to a natural and beautiful phase of a young woman's life.
